Iterative Performance Therapy (IPT)

Where therapy becomes Training

Move out of pain. Build capacity. Perform with confidence. Our team blends manual therapy, strength science, and biomechanics to help you restore function and raise your baseline.

At our South Lake Union clinic, care starts hands-on and finishes stronger. Integrative Performance Therapy (IPT) combines targeted manual work with progressive loading and movement coaching so you feel better now—and stay better later.

What is ITP?

Integrative Performance Therapy (IPT) is a hybrid, evidence-informed system that pairs manual therapy with progressive strength and biomechanics. We restore mobility, reduce pain, and then build tissue capacity and joint integrity so your body tolerates real-life demands—work, sport, and everything in between.

IPT pillars

  • Assess precisely: history, movement, strength, and load tolerance

  • Relieve what’s limiting you: joint work and soft-tissue techniques

  • Load progressively: the right exercises, in the right order, at the right dose

  • Build durability: conditioning that protects against re-injury

A physical therapist assists a woman during a weightlifting exercise, ensuring proper form and technique. The woman is in a deadlift stance with a barbell as the therapist provides hands-on guidance.

How a session works

  1. Listen and test
We map symptoms to movement, strength, and lifestyle demands.

  2. Hands-on reset
Spinal and extremity joint work plus soft-tissue techniques to improve motion and calm symptoms.

  3. Strength that sticks
You’ll train targeted patterns with coaching on tempo, range, and dosage. This is where pain relief turns into durable change.

  4. Your plan
Clear progressions, simple home work, and check-ins to keep momentum.
